to Miss Kathleen Bottomley.

It was with great pleasure, thanks to Bill Smith, Windermere Town Mayor that I attended the 100th Birthday party of Kathleen Bottomley.

Alexandra Court is a charming retirement home where residents have their own apartments. Miss Bottomley lived there for 18 years.

Many members of her family were there including a nephew from Canada.

I met some charming residents as well as carers and particularly the Manager, Mrs Jane Tamang.

BRITISH RED CROSS LUNCH at The Hydro Hotel, Bowness.
Many friends and acquaintences were there. A sad, but interesting talk given by Lady Grenfell-Baines.
