CARLISLE CATHEDRAL
PRACTISE for Cathedral Service on Tuesday 17th November 2009

9am
David and I collected Katy, my PA, and James Richards (my Chaplain) for the journey to Carlisle.
10.30am
Coffee in the Priors Kitchen and Katy and I talked with Susan, the Catering Manager, re arrangements for coffee to be both there and in the Refectory on the 17th.
11.00am
We met Hugh Fitzgerald (the Under Sheriff) and The Dean of Carlisle, The Very Reverend Mark Boyling in the Cathedral

The Dean was extremely helpful and after talking about the seating plan, the Procession and the Order of Service he kindly heard me practise the PREFACE and James got the 'feel' of the pulpit.

We stopped on the motorway for a sandwich on the way home.
